Community Guidelines
Our number one priority is to create a fun and safe place for
kinksters, like you and I, to call home here on the web.
To make sure this is a fun and safe place we wrote the following
list of general community guidelines we would like everyone to respect.
Enjoy Yourself...
No seriously, enjoy yourself. If this is your first time joining a kinky community we know it can be scary at first. We recommend you go at a pace you feel most comfortable. Read our pages and blog that catch your attention, read what other people have to say, participate in discussions and strike up conversations with brothers that pique your interest.
Play Nice...
It is ok to disagree with someone but it is another thing altogether to attack them. We don't accept aggressive personal attacks, criminal accusations, making fun of, trolling, flaming, bullying, racial slurs… pretty much any type of disrespectful behaviour that degrades the quality of discussions and people's
experience here.
People don't come to be abused… unless of course that is their kink… in that case
we don't judge :-p.
Ex. “I totally disagree with you” is ok… “I think you are dumb ass fucktard” is not
ok.
Be Open-Minded and Non-Judgemental...
People often say to us how they love the fact that BLOC is so open-minded and non-judgemental, and we are proud of that.
Please help us make sure we stays this way. There is no place on here or any “my kink is ok but yours is not” attitude.
No Pictures or Videos of Kids Allowed...
The community has spoken and they do not want to see any pictures or videos of people under the age of 18 on. It is not illegal to have innocent pictures or videos of kids on sites but the community prefers we keep a 18+ rule.
You Must Be At Least 18 Years Old...
You need to be at least 18 years old. Each person matures at a different speed and you might feel you are ready to join when you are 17 but you need to wait until your 18th birthday.
Think Twice Before You Hit “submit!”
You should think twice though before you start or comment on any discussions. To maintain the integrity of discussions we don't remove the original post or any comments unless they break one of our guidelines.
Only Post Pictures and Videos You Own or Have The Rights to Post...
You should only upload pictures and videos which you have taken or which you were given permission to post.
Has someone taken one of your pictures or videos and uploaded it to webwithout your permission? Not cool, not cool at all! But, we can take them down for you. Please report any copyright infringements to our webmaster.
Private Conversations Should Be Kept Private...
Private conversations between two brothers should stay private, unless of course, the two people who were having the conversation both agree to it being posted publicly. It is just common courtesy.
Don't Out Anyone...
Each person is comfortable with different pieces of their personal information being revealed. Some people don't mind you using their full real name and others don't want you to even use their first name. Please make a conscious effort to respect each person's comfort level.
Also, to protect brothers of the community, we don't allow phone numbers or
addresses to be posted publicly unless they are for a business, organization or event.
Certain Topics Are Prohibited...
Certain topics are prohibited. Some of them are for legal reasons and others are because of limitations put on us by brothers in the community.
You can have intellectual discussions, but not sexualize or publicly fantasize about the following topics: murder, snuff, necrophilia, cannibalism, animal abuse, bestiality and anything involving minors.
Take Everything You Read With A Grain of Salt...
Our web site is for informational and educational purposes only. What people post is not verified by anyone for it's accuracy. What you read should not be construed as actual, professional advice. You should always consult a qualified professional.
What you do is a huge part of who you are. But, in keeping with the spirit of Brotherhood and making sure each brother is of an actual person, we don't allow profiles to be named after a business, event or organization. We encourage you to talk about and link to your business, event or organization on your profile, start a group for it and, where applicable, list all of your upcoming events in our event section. Send a link to our webmaster.
Spam and Cross-Posting
Who likes spam here please raise your hand? You over there in the back of the
class… are you serious? I didn't think so.
Since nobody likes spam other than spammers, we promise to protect you from
it to the best of our ability. This includes cross-posting. We will not tolerate
anyone posting the same message more than 2 times a day anywhere publicly.
Someone Breaks One Of Our Community Guidelines...
We don't scan other than for spam or scammers. So if you come across
something that goes against our community guidelines it is probably because
nobody reported it. Please don't hesitate to report anything that does not look
kosher to our webmaster and one of our Caretakers will investigate.
What happens when someone breaks any of our guidelines? Generally we have a
three strike policy but of course it all depends on the situation.
1% Of Your Action Belongs To Us...
We have no clue how we are going to claim this but we want 1% of the action
you are getting from this site. Yeah, you heard me right. While we are working
our asses off to grow BLOC you are getting action and we want 1% of it, damn
it! We think it is only fair. ;-)
Got Questions or Suggestions?
If you ever need clarification on any part of the community guidelines or
have a question, suggestion, a bit of feedback, or a problem with the site,
please feel free to contact us, see members page for link to our executive board members.
Changes to the Community Guidelines...
Like BLOC itself, the Community Guidelines will evolve over time, so make sure to check
back often for updates.
