For Group Fisting Sessions
Following are some things to consider, regarding house rules and etiquette at group fisting sessions. They are tips that will help you have an idea of what to expect and what is expected of you when you come to work, and is especially handy if attending your first group fisting session. Keeping these guidelines in mind will make the session more fun for all concerned.
Before the Session - You are expected to do your clean-out before you arrive at the session. Touch-up facilities are intended for touch-ups only, and you are expected to clean up the room after you finish.
Smoking - Not permitted except in designated area. Off-Limits - Usually, there will be areas that are off limits. The work area is for working.
The main house, unless otherwise permitted is off limits.
Respect your host's privacy.
You will be expected to stay within the designated work and social areas.
Limited shower facilities may be available; however, bring your own towel.
General Party Behavior - Anyone who becomes drunk or out of his own control will be sent home by taxi at his expense. Gentlemanly behavior is expected of all guests as they arrive and leave the session site.
Please work quietly, and don't block driveways. Do not bring non-prescription drugs (poppers are usually okay) onto the premises.
Please leave all excess cash and valuables at home or in your car. Hosts are not responsible for loss of your property.
When Working As A Top - Gloves may be provided for your use, or bring your own. Always use a fresh pair whenever you are topping. Never use the same gloves on two people. Do not put gloves on until after the Bottom is in position, because if you have to touch chains, chairs, etc., after gloving they will be contaminated and need replacing.
After each session, be sure to wash your hands and arms thoroughly.
Standard session etiquette is for the Bottom to ask the Top; so once you've indicated your availability, don't harass the bottom; most, I say, most, Bottoms take much longer to rest up between sessions than Tops.
When Working As A Bottom - To keep down the spread of disease, you must use only your own individual container of lube. Preferably, put fresh lube in a disposable plastic dish for each session and then toss what's left.
Don't jump in the sling unless you have a partner. Work area and slings are to be used only for the amount of time you're working, and are to be relinquished after you are done, so that others may have their turn. No one likes a Sling Lizard!
General Workroom Conduct - Please respect equipment by not jumping or bouncing in the slings. Do not attempt to participate in another person's play session unless you are invited. Loud screams and shouting disrupt each other's head space and are rude. When your session is finished, The Top cleans himself first, then cleans the Bottom. Then, the Top helps the Bottom out of the sling, and gives good support until the flow of blood returns to normal for the Bottom.
Then both clean the work area thoroughly (including the floor) before leaving. A group fisting session is great to attend, but not so much fun to give if you have to do everything yourself. If you are invited to a group fisting session, ask if you can help with the set-up or breakdown.
Sometimes the day before or after a session can be the best time to offer help. Cleaning up everything after a session may not be all that much fun, but it helps make it go faster and more fun if you have others to help you. Also, offer to host the next session - no one wants to be the only one hosting.
Common etiquette is used in every walk of life, and we use it at group fisting sessions, too. This is one man's perspective.
Happy Fisting . . . now play nice.
